These terms and conditions are specific to the Out of Africa Picnic Tour. Please read them carefully before booking your experience.

1. Booking and Payment

  • Advance Booking: All bookings must be made at least 3 days in advance.
  • Pricing:
    • Adults: KES 5,520 per person
    • Children (6-12 years): KES 3,915 per child
    • Children (5 years and under): FREE
  • Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking confirmation.
  • Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed once payment is received and you receive our confirmation email.
  • Binding: Paying and booking confirmation automatically binds you to our terms and conditions.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Customer Cancellation:
    • More than 48 hours before tour: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
    • 24-48 hours before tour: 50% refund
    • Less than 24 hours before tour: No refund
  • Weather Cancellation: Tours may be cancelled due to severe weather conditions with full refund or rescheduling options.
  • Company Cancellation: Full refund will be provided if we need to cancel the tour.

3. Tour Requirements and Restrictions

  • Group Size: Minimum 2 people, maximum 20 people per tour.
  • Age Requirements: Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Health Considerations: Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions during booking.
  • Physical Requirements: Tours involve light outdoor activities suitable for most fitness levels.
  • Arrival Time: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time.

5. Safety and Liability

  • Environment: Nando Farm is a green environment that strongly advocates for care and protection of the environment. Please dispose all disposable materials in the rightful provided disposable bins.
  • Pet Owners: For pet lovers or owners who would wish to come along with their pets, please ensure they are on leash and under the care and watch of the owner.We do not provide any food for pets, hence ensure your pet is properly taken care of, this includes cleaning after them.
  • Personal Belongings: Kenya Nut Company is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
  • Health and Safety: Participants join the tour at their own risk. Please follow all safety instructions provided by our guides.
  • Insurance: Participants are advised to have their own travel and health insurance.
  • Photography: The event may be recorded and images or videos used on event page for marketing and promotion purposes. In case you are not comfortable to being photographed or recorded, please specify this during your booking.
  • Indemnity: Kenya Nut Company is not liable for any injuries, damages, loss and theft that occurs during or after the event.

6. Food Safety and Allergies

  • Allergen Information: Our products may contain nuts, dairy, and other common allergens.
  • Special Dietary Requirements: We offer vegetarian and gluten free options. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of booking.
  • Food Safety: All food is prepared following strict hygiene standards.
  • Responsibility: Participants with severe allergies should carry their own medication and inform our guide immediately.

7. Behavior and Conduct

  • Respectful Behavior: All participants must treat guides, staff, and other guests with respect.
  • Alcohol and Substances: Participants under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances will not be permitted on the tour.
  • Disruptive Behavior: We reserve the right to remove participants who engage in disruptive behavior without refund.

8. Changes to Tours

  • Itinerary Changes: We reserve the right to modify the tour itinerary due to weather, safety, or other operational reasons.
  • Substitutions: Food items may be substituted based on availability while maintaining the quality and experience.
  • Duration: Tours typically last 4 hours but may vary slightly based on group size and participation.

  • Data Retention: Booking information is retained for 2 years for service and tax purposes.

By booking a picnic tour with Kenya Nut Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kenya Nut Company.
